Which is the best keyboard that I can buy to start learning to play?

I am thinking to start learning to play a keyboard and I really want to know which is the best label o type of keyboard that I can buy to do so. No very expensive and useful. Of course if you can suggest me any site or material to start learning it would be welcome as well.

Depends on what you want to play and how much you want to spend. In my opinion do not even consider the less than $500 keyboards as they tend to be toys rather than instruments. Yamaha, Korg and Roland make good ones. A Roland Juno D is a decent keyboard for not a lot of money, I have a Yamaha Motif XS ($3000) and it is an awesome synth. I also have a Roland Juno G which is a good little keyboard ($1000). Nord and Kurtzweil also make good stuff. Do not buy any keyboard with less than 61 keys.

A Sampler that can be used with a computer keyboard?

I was wondering if there is a program that functions exactly like a sampler except you can use your keyboard. I saw this guy at the park with his laptop making sick beats with his number pad. I'd love to have one for myself, but i have no idea what it is. A free program would be great but one that costs money would be fine too.
