Num Keyboard

i can't seem to find the num lock key on my laptop keyboard. theres isn't a specific key that says "num lock"

can someone please help me. it's a toshiba laptop with windows vista.
i'm trying to use accent marks

Chances are you don't have one. The purpose of the "num lock" key is to turn on the number typing with the number pad on a keyboard. Being that most laptops don't have number pads (I've only ever seen one that does) your laptop has no use for a num lock key.

Keyboard Dell Vostro

Should I get the Dell Vostro 1310 or a Lenovo ThinkPad SL400?

I need a student-oriented laptop, sensibly priced. I want 1) long battery life 2) lot of RAM(without supplementing) 3)durability. A nice keyboard+chassis and a good multimedia system would be a great plus, though IT IS NOT GOING TO BE A GAMING LAPTOP.

I've narrowed it down to these two, so which one would you recommend over the other?
Also, the dealership I'm getting it from is offering them at a comparable price.

The thinkpad should last 10 years and they are very durable.
They are known for quality so i'd say go for them.

I have to reply to what randy said by telling him thinkpads are higher quality, last longer and more reliable than macbooks and overall have better performance.

Is there a driver for Windows 7 for a Wacom Graphire tablet? I am curious because I searched for a driver for my Wacom tablet and all I see are ones for Vista and XP.

What System Requirements do I have to have for my Tablet PC to have wireless internet/networking access?

If you are talking WiFi -- most tablets come equipped with this internally (just check the specs on the machine). If you want wireless Internet when you are not in WiFi range... consider an aircard (basically a cell phone internet connection).

I use one with my Motion 1600 PC and I really like it. Now, it's not nearly as fast as broadband, so if you are spoiled by DSL like I am, it may frustrate you a bit. It's still alot faster than dial-up and slow broadband formats (if you are in a 3G area and have a 3G enabled aircard-- or Edge/GPRS). Speeds run 850-2100 MHz, on average.

Most of these cellular cards require a PC card Type 2 slot (32 bit card bus form factor)

The one I'm using (a Option GT Max) is nice because the antennae doesn't "stick out" when it's not in use, the "butterfly" style will tuck away where it's safe when you don't need it -- and out of your way. I used the external antennae style with my Tablet PC and it made me nuts (it was a Sierra Card) because no matter how I held my Tablet, it seemed to always be in my way.
