I got new dell and i tried to install Windows Media player 11 beta and it says i dont have genuine windows!?

I bought it DIRECTLY FROM DELL and i want to know a way around this and why it says its NOT genuine, DELL SAID THEY GAVE REAL WINDOWS x-(

this is a great choice because dell are good relaible computers and they are also very affordable...makes it great for college students..(i have one myself)...and vista does have some bugs but they are being worked on and just do the updates and you should be fine...FYI if you are concerned about vista...give windows 7 a try i heard very good things about it...it is very stable and very fast...the beta is out right now and many people that have it are pleased..most of the drivers are preloaded like the linux os

Genuine Laptop Keyboard

Any ideas? My keyboard sticks in gmail, but nowhere else?

When I am in gmail typing an email some keys on my laptop keyboard do not work first time and I have to press them again. In Yahoo, Word..... I do not experience the problem. My laptop is 2 years old with all the genuine software and uptodate Norton anti virus.
Do you have any idea what might be causing this? and more importantly how to fix it? see the 2 examples below

Its strange how sometimes the keys do not appear to work this is really begining to annoy me (typed directly with no missing keys into yahoo answers)

It's a lag on the servers and basically there's nothing you can do about it especially when the servers are up to full capacity when every one is on at the same time.

It's all to do with your Ping time to the server. A ping is the time it takes to send a pulse from your computer to the sever and back again.

As an example I have just pinged San Francisco CA [Near enough Yahoo] which is 5,369 from me the ping time is 526 milliseconds. A millisecond is 1 thousandth of 1 second.

When I pinged my local server which is about 25 miles away the time is only 10 milliseconds.

So while I'm typing this, for every letter key I press takes just over ½ a second to appear on this board and read back to me. Having said that there has been times when the lag has been very bad when Yahoo have had problems with their servers.

You could type a complete word and it would take a couple of seconds to appear on the board.
