Whats the pint of a gaming keyboard and mouse?
I have a logitech G9 lasser mouse and a logitech Wave Keyboard and i was wondering if there a good for gamming? whats the point of gaming mouse keyboard
like somthing bout extra senstivity and more prisise for mouse but what more can the keyboard offer, whats a gamming keyboard like? and also would gamming keyboard/mouse be good for just regular desktop use? thnaks;)
Gaming mice such as your G9 are good for gaming because of their high accuracy and the ability to adjust sensitivity on the fly. This can really help in certain games. Other features of gaming mice include having lots of buttons, which can be customized to have certain functions in game, and customizable weight.
Gaming keyboards are popular because they usually have many function keys which can be customized for in game function just like the gaming mouse, and can sometimes be used to program macros. Gaming keyboards sometimes light up also for late night gaming sessions.
Both of these items can still be good for regular desktop use because the extra functionality can be used for just about anything you can imagine, they just appeal to gamers more than anything, and so they are marketed as such.

No Gaming Mouse for Kewin
Kewin got the new gaming pc, a wide flat screen display, wireless keyboard, loads of cola's , but still having same OLD MOUSE . Poor kewin! Online gaming is becoming more competitive these days; kewin would surely like to take an advantage of every available opportunity to gain a edge over his foes... Feel like kewin , then switch to new genre of gaming that is "Gaming Mouse". It is specially designed for those spent 18 hrs with pc games in vacations. There are various options available, but there are only handfuls of brands which we can recommend. Let us go with the best ergonomics and sensor technology available in gaming mouse.
LOGITECH G5 (2nd version): It adds a second thumb button on left side. A smooth plastic is replaced by grippy black and blue crack lines. There are adjustment buttons to switch on-the-fly between 400, 800 & 2000 DPI. It also has the removable weight cartridge that slides into bottom. With Logitech setpoint, one can reset the specific button for specific function of windows. People who have broad and lengthy palms find it uncomfortable. Gaming Mouse will range from rs 2500- rs 4000.
MICROSOFT SIDE WINDER: It starts with the standard function with right and left clicks with scroll wheel, the wheel doesn't tilt but it gets depressed as a button click. There are three buttons to change the DPI settings. Each button lights up via LED. It also has a small LCD screen which shows the current DPI settings. Bottom is plain with smooth surface in red color. It has 3 changeable mice feet. Gaming mouse is as light as 5g - 10 g. There is unusual thumb button which is out of reach for some. It will cost rs 3250-rs 4750.
So by now kewin has adopted a GAMING MOUSE. What about you?
