Whats the pint of a gaming keyboard and mouse?

I have a logitech G9 lasser mouse and a logitech Wave Keyboard and i was wondering if there a good for gamming? whats the point of gaming mouse keyboard
like somthing bout extra senstivity and more prisise for mouse but what more can the keyboard offer, whats a gamming keyboard like? and also would gamming keyboard/mouse be good for just regular desktop use? thnaks;)

Gaming mice such as your G9 are good for gaming because of their high accuracy and the ability to adjust sensitivity on the fly. This can really help in certain games.
