Braille Keyboard

Computers for a blind child.?
Do you know of any computer manufacturer in Asia who makes Braille keyboards or a computer specially for the blind? Thanks a lot for your time.
Thank you guys REB ,Phoebe and i come...
that was very helpful and informative.
With the tech today I know it is possible. It is for my 11 year old son, he learned to play piano at the age of 3 so it is possible he can learn to use computers.
Thank you very much.
This is actually a good question. I have blind friends who just have something hooked up to their computers that read the text to them. I will ask one of my friends about it & edit my answer.
BTW, your 1st 2 answerers have no idea what they are talking about. My blind friends know how to maneuver through the Net, etc.
Edit: Mindy says 1 option is to buy a regular computer & then buy a speech software program such as Jaws or Window Eyes. That will allow the blind person to hear what's on the screen.
The 2nd option is to buy a machine, such as a BrailleNote from Humanware in California. Their website is humanware.com. This is a type of computer designed especially for the blind.

Business Cards Printing: Make Exciting Business Cards, not Boring Ones
You can bet a lot of things can be done using a business card. I’m not just referring to its practical uses such as being used as bookmarks or cleaning the spaces between the keys of the keyboard. Nope, business cards printing had definitely grown by leaps and bounds.
Where the conventional business card used to be just that, which included the basics such as name, occupation, contact numbers are addresses, business cards today have become revolutionary.
Business cards are pretty much different nowadays. It borders from the contemporary to almost the absurd. Nonetheless, it makes up for its folly by being a great conversation piece – one that is enough to break the ice between two boring businessman who can now enjoy their luncheon meeting with ease.
So, what makes a business card escape the boring tag? Read on and join the club.
1. Include a line about what you do
Job titles are boring. And most of us don’t have a clue on what job the person really does. For all we know, he might be the CEO but what does he do really? Wouldn’t it be better, if we just include a line on what he does (or doesn’t do) for the company?
2. Put your picture on it
How many times have you looked over your stack of cards and the name that you read doesn’t really ring a bell? For all the simplicity it offers, why don’t more business people adopt this?
It will surely help if you have drop-dead gorgeous looks. And for those who are not exactly picture perfect, this is where creativity and the use of photo editing software can weave its magic into your portraits.
3. Include a cartoon drawing at the back of the business card, urging recipients to make use of the back side for notes Why waste such precious space when it is so good to write on, and convenient one at that? Not only will the business card double its use, it will also double its exposure.
4. If you frequent another country for business, include both languages
The world is becoming a really small place. And in this global age, you can take advantage of creating multiple and even multi-nation connections.
Create a business card and use two different languages at the same time. Print your business card in English and the reverse, the complete translation of your business card into another language.
It’s a good idea that will help you become more identified, two folds.
5. Be different and celebrate who you are.
Try an idea that fancy. You could just put your first name and add simple instructions or adjectives about yourself. Print some in Braille. Or maybe, you could pattern your card to look like a train pass with your details on it.
You might ask, if everybody else were doing the same thing, what would prevent these cards from ending up like everybody else’s? What would keep it from being a bore as well? The difference lies in the quality of business card printing!
Today’s modern presses deliver excellent color quality that no home printer can match. And with the current technology, professional business card print jobs are delivered fast and prompt. Imagine getting your business cards in as little as a day or two.
There are plenty of quality paper stock offered by print companies to your satisfaction. And virtually all types of colors out in the market, your printer can ably find the color that matches the one in your head for your business card needs too. And whatever it is you can think of, a lot of options are available to you.
Or you could always go back to using the traditional format for your business card. Name, job title and all the pertinent details included.
Invest in your imagination and invest in quality business cards printing. Be different and stand out, and let your business cards show the world how it is done.
